< News At The Farm

27th  May 2011. All 'Mums' have had their calves and are now out in the fields with Winston the Bull. Have had a bit of rain at last so hopefully the grass will start growing for them to eat. Now waiting for enough grass to cut for silage in June fingers crossed. Time to clean out the main cattle barn and get it ready for the winter again. Point of lay hen sales are steady and keep us busy as well as the many other jobs to do.Picture of Mum with her heifer calf below.
